WOYWW #836 and a Late T for Tuesday
Evening! And a happy WOYWWednesday to you. And a belated T for Tuesday! I, me, myself have actually been crafting! (yes and covering more boxes, and watering and weeding and cutting hedges...it's all in the picture) but no, real crafting...trying to make a quicky Birthday Card but but BUT! I suddenly had dogs to do. Yay! (get out of the untidy messy crafty house and into the sunshine!!) Above crafty picture is what I've been doing... colouring some Lawn Fawn stamped images ....a bird table with birds and squirrels. Well, that's what's in the garden of where I've been House/dog/sitting, with Remi and Bronte, so I thought that would be a good idea for a card... Just gotta make the background (sky/grass, you know)
The Lawn Fawn video of this set, has the bird table hanging from the tree....and the feeder (which in real life should be a lot smaller) on a pole...o....kay... So, I'm trying to make my feeder be in the front and the bird table in the background...anyway! we will see when I've finished it! I've just gotta go hunt out my 'clouds' stencil...and some blue ink.... Haven't found my clouds stencil yet, but I did find last years WOYWW ATC cards...(5 left out of nine) I've called them, 'A Walk Through The New Forest' and I can't even remember making them! Odd that I haven't squeezed a New Forest Pony in there somewhere! First thing this morning, I had a play with Frankie...He has the biggest mouth ever! Always smiling!! (It's a wonder he doesn't swallow the ball!)Sunday, 8 June 2025
Receipt paper Covered Box and an always freebie
What I've made so far.....with the Receipt paper masterboard on the post below....I covered this diddy little box....And seeing this paper was a download there's no crinkly bits or peeling corners, plus I die cut a few (unfinished) tickets, with the leftovers. Will add more stuff later.
Meanwhile, this popped up on my sceen, an old Spyder's Corner banner. Added a few other things, so this has become another allways freebie... I'll show you what I did with this in a later post too! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Saturday! How's about some forever freebies??
Remember when I was house/dog sitting last month? (no) well, I made a masterboard using shopping receipts on a rough 12x12 (which had fallen down the back of the old oven and had been there for some years!) As you can see, it looked a bit tatty when I'd finished, but once I'd scanned it and saved to my laptop, it didn't look too bad. I've printed the one sheet at different angels as an A5, as I liked the smaller detail. I was going to add things....but then decided to let you do that! So here are my scanned A5 Masterboard Tickets and Recepts. But if you'd like it a little bit bigger, go HERE, where I made my first one. Just click and save on this page! Let me know what you do with them and I'll show you...
... what I did with them in the next post!! Have a great weekend. Thank you for stopping by!

It's still Wednesday....#835
So! It must be WOYWW!? I was up really early this morning and was going to do something very extraordinary, but? Well? I've decided, at long last, to prioritise (That's the first time in my life I've ever used that word!) I did do what I wanted to do, so with every job done, I rewarded myself with a triangle of chocolate from a large bar of Toblerone! Above is my craftroom as it is now. That will take weeks to sort out! But I did find time to cover another box...
I can't tidy the craftroom, it's just too much! I will start fiddling with things I find, and that will be the day gone! So, I did something I could do. I have now cleared the living room, (stuff that hasn't got a home to go to in the new kitchen and has been hanging around for ages, has been moved to the spare bedroom) the carpets are down, AND I've put the curtains back up. They were taken down ages ago and the arm chairs shoved forward so I could paint the wall where the hatch used to be....the men had to come back and redo their 'plastering' as it was totally rubbish! (A mouse on stilts could've done better using a spoon!) The only trouble is...getting up on a step ladder. I can manage two steps, maybe three, but with a paint brush and a roller dish in my hands? Only if I can hold onto something other than the step ladder...(which means of course I needed at least three pairs of hands!) Anyway...I've painted as high as I could, and did some of the coving and the skirting board and then stopped...That's it! It's done! No one will notice! If the workmen can get away with unfinished bits... then so can I! I put the curtains back up, the way I used to do the Christmas Decorations...by putting the dining chairs all the way around the room...so I can walk on them, see? No dining chairs now, so in came four garden chairs. (the only trouble there is, snails and slugs might come in too!) By the time I'd done that, I only had half the Toblerone bar left!

It's Tuesday...
...so it must be T stands for Tuesday T day. I've only just, yesterday, set up my laptop after once again, unexpectedly, being away dog/house sitting again last week, when suddenly, it came up on the screen, 'Battery Dangerously Low! Yep....I'd forgotten to plug it in...Anyway! Can't miss T for Tuesday-hosted by Elizabeth and Bleubeard. The 'green' is my own mix of loads a different fruit and spinage with...Coconut water. Different but quite nice! And, the yellow, I showed you last week...not my usual Turmeric and Ginger Tea bag but my own mix...I used the little coffee jug to strain out all the bits! See how I mangered to get the word 'Tea' in the glass, clever huh? Short and sweet this week! Thank you for stopping by!

WOYWW #834-Back in The Sun Room
Happy WOYWWednesday! I'm back with the dogs, and doing a bit of this and that in the sunroom again. Already been out a dozen times around the garden and woods with the dogs, so...a bit of me time. I've brought a few crafty things with me...plus dies, stamps and papers from some happy Mail I went home for yesturday. (Home's not far away) My magazine was waiting for me too. Still haven't managed to find where Die Cutting Essentials latest freebie papers are, or this issue of Simply Cards and Papercraft. It's all changed. You have to go through filling in your address, email,
etc, and then either download there or when they send you an email. I
liked the old way better, where you just downloaded it and you'd been
able to see if you'd already got it as it would have a little note on
the side telling you when..(ie, 'you downloaded this May 2018') Change always confuses me! Anyway! Moan over. I'm covering a detergent box again...well, why not? Just deciding weather
whether to match the lid to the bottom, like I usually do, or not
bother... ohooo such decisions! I need a pencil, can I find a pencil? No!
My happy mail yesterday consisted of, a few paper packets of 6x6 and 5x7's, in that really bright wizzy patterned paper... I chose some different ones, plus some dies and stamps, a rubbish bin sticker cover...(I mean a bin you put rubbish in, not that the bin's rubbish **up date, the sticker was!...already in the bin and not on the outside of it!) -which I left at home-and a few things like washi tape and stickers...
Here's this months 'freebie' from Simply Cards and Papercraft #271, as I said above, still haven't found where to download those 'freebie' papers yet! Well, that's what's on the table in the house/dog sitting sunroom this week! Ohoo one more thing! Only I haven't got a picture, so I've 'borrowed' Sarah's! Julia's atc arrived, it's #7of 9... being a Startrek Fan I noticed that! I hope she got mine, as being a bank holiday weekend this weekend gone, the post box looked sadly neglected! Thank you Julia! I did a little happy dance!
Now, that's definitely it from me, until I think of something else to add. Happy WOYWW everyone. Pop over to Sarahs Craft Shed and join in!! Thank you for stopping by!Up date, a little later...I've finished covering the box and ended up matching the lid with the box's bottom (Oho-er!) and I've made a little note book to match...what d'you think? ('don't give up the day job') Catch you all later!
